Our Story
After finishing a master's in Genetic Analysis and working as an Agronomist for NIAB, Jamie began his PhD in Computer Science at the University of York. Working with Prof. Dan Franks and Prof. Katherine Denby, Jamie began his project to apply computer vision to detect disease in cocoa trees. Having successfully completed this project, a new and exciting opportunity presented itself. Combining our team's expertise in agriculture, computer vision and AI, we founded Fairfield Vision with the ambitious aim of developing and deploying HiveSight, a contribution to a sustainable future.
